Our story began when we spotted a gap in the market.
From our knowledge and experience with masonry, we were aware that Lincolnshire limestone had always been a popular choice for architectural buildings like Windsor Castle, the Palaces of Westminster and Oxford colleges. Strangely, it hadn’t yet found its feet (pardon the pun) in the flooring market.
All it took was a man with a mission, a small bench saw and a handheld polishing machine in 2002 to change the history of flooring.
Our company now exports throughout the UK to Europe and beyond. We have grown in name and reputation, recognised for the sheer quality and consistency of our stone and our commitment to complete customer satisfaction.
We’re passionate about what we do and our creativity knows no bounds. You’ll often hear us tell our customers “If you can draw it, we can make it” – this is how we keep designers, architects and developers happy. They know we can turn a raw block of stone into something very special.
We love where we live, too. Our local limestone has established itself as a competitor to prestigious counterparts such as Portland and Bath limestone.
Looking ahead, we’re confident of the continuing success and popularity of natural stone as a sustainable material for homes, offices, hotels, restaurants, even shopping centres like Europe’s biggest and most iconic Bluewater (which chose limestone to depict the flow of the river in Thames Walk.)
