TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Depth
We do not recommend a depth of less than 20mm on our flooring
as this would compromise the strength of the stone.
Sealant
A limestone floor will last for many years and be a low maintenance floor covering if sealed
correctly when first laid. We recommend and happily source sealants for each project.
Fitting
We do not offer a fitting service, but are happy to recommend professional fitters who have gained
our respect for this skilled trade over the years. Again, we recommend you do not compromise on
quality of workmanship.
Slip Resistance
Slip resistance tests show our flooring has extremely low potential for slip in dry conditions
and low potential for slip when tested in wet conditions. (Copies of slip resistance tests available on request)
Samples
Stone being a naturally formed material is by no means consistent in texture or colour
and any samples provided must therefore be regarded as a general indication of an average
example currently available from the quarries.
